Projects
What once was - Personal Film
In 'What Once Was,' I delve into the profound impact of the lingering residues of the COVID era, an intimate exploration of the enduring effects that have woven into the fabric of our lives. Through the lens of a split screen, the film unfolds a poignant narrative, drawing a stark contrast between my life before and after the pandemic's influence.
Made in Morocco - 2M
Chosen among thousands nationwide for 2M's "Tililab" advertising contest, I crafted a film highlighting the significance of local shopping in Morocco. The narrative traces a 20Dh bill's journey through diverse services and businesses, illustrating how each transaction weaves into the fabric of our community. The film emphasizes the profound impact of every Dirham invested in local ventures, showcasing the interconnectedness of our choices. Ultimately, the bill returns to its origin—the first person who chose to invest in the local market, underscoring that supporting local projects is not just a contribution to the country's economic growth but a personal investment that enriches our lives as well.
Jenb Ra7a - Personal Film
From the moment I became aware of my surroundings, Morocco, my beloved home country, captivated my heart. Its enchanting landscapes, the warmth of its people, and the richness of its diverse culture have always been a source of profound admiration for me. However, beneath the surface of my adoration lies a complex tale of heartache, as I grapple with a Morocco that, in turn, seems resistant to reciprocate. This tale of unrequited love is the subject of my film 'Jenb Ra7a.'
